TO APPLY
As an apprentice, you will be required to attend training totaling a minimum of 130 hours per semester. We have an incredible curriculum and will teach everything the apprentice needs to know in order to become a Licensed Journeyman Plumber. You will have certain responsibilities such as: keeping track of your On the Job Training hours (OJT) as well as classroom hours. These two totals are a necessary part of the raise procedure. As an apprentice you will be eligible to apply for a 5% raise twice a year,which will be granted provided you meet the requirements of OJT and classroom hours.
After working and acquiring up to 300 work hours, you will be eligible for Medical and Vision insurance for you and your dependents. You will receive contributions toward a pension started after your third year in the program as well, which will be fully vested once you have 5 continuous years of work as a member once contributions begin.
Each Apprentice will receive their Colorado Journeyman Plumbing License, Pipefitter Training, Medical Gas Certification, Backflow Certification, Fork Lift Training, CPR/First Aid Certification, Welding Certifications and Rigging Certifications, just to name a few. All our training is provided to make a safe and productive work environment.
All of our training is free to journeyman members as well. As a journeyman, you will be able to take any of the classes offered at the training center. We will also offer advanced classes such as Foreman Certification, Backflow Certification, Medical Gas Certification and you will be able to acquire UA Welding Certifications.
